A starting point for your first boxing training

The Alpha line is offered by Booster for novice fighters. This model is interesting if you are looking for your first closed training gloves and want to compare them in terms of material, fit and oz weight.

Which oz choice suits your lesson?

First ask what glove weight your trainer prescribes for the lesson. Bodyweight is a starting point, but bag training and sparring can have different demands. Don't choose a lighter model just because your hands are small: oz indicates the glove weight.

Try on the gloves with your hand wraps

Wear the same hand wraps during fitting as you do during your training. Calmly make a fist and check whether your fingers and thumb are comfortable. This is how you assess the interior space of this model in your own training combination.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

MAKE YOUR CHOICE.

Start with your training

Are you looking for gloves for bag training, technique or sparring? Check the product information for intended use. An MMA glove is constructed differently than a closed boxing glove.

Choose your weight and fit

Boxing gloves are often referred to in ounces (oz). Adjust the weight with your trainer and check which versions are available when ordering. The interior space and closure differ per model.
